Mama's BLOCK PARTY with DJ Jack Mudd for LGBT+ History Month
Mama is delighted to celebrate LGBT+ History month with our Block Party on 27th February. A dear friend of the community, we have ran events with Not a Phase, We Create Space, Opening Doors London and more. Our door is open to collaborate on Talks, Education Sessions and even a little shindig. So here enters DJ Jack Mudd, who is a maestro at mixing, an artist and producer, who will be spinning thee R&B and old school hip hop bangers in Mama’s Bar from 7pm! Join us.
To honour LGBT+ History Month, we are investing in the future of the LGBT+ community by donating all proceeds to Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust, an organisation that offers support and education to the next generation through mentoring, events, counselling, and residentials

DJ CLEIDO
Cleido is a proudly Angolan Afro-House DJ based in London. Born and raised in South Africa and he has a deep desire to champion the sounds of African dance music. Cleido fuses together an eclectic mix of Afro-House with deep house, downtempo and melodic techno to cater to audiences with diverse musical tastes.
Through each vibrant set delivered by Cleido, the crowd is exposed to a number of unique sounds from a variety of regions in Africa, with not one region taking precedence over another. The London-based DJ revels not only in the fusion of sounds from different regions of the continent but also in introducing his crowd to new, atypical sounds, keeping them on their feet well into the night.
As Cleido takes London by storm, above all else, he wishes to captivate and dazzle listeners with the rich musical culture that the African continent has to offer.

Festival of Women: Comedy with Chloe Petts and guests.
Mama’s Festival of Women returns for the second year, with a line-up of activity for the entire week leading up to International Women’s Day. From comedy to music, food to education, we are collaborating with the creme de la creme.
Chloe Petts – Headliner
Chloe is one of the most exciting acts on the circuit. An alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, you may have seen her on Jonathan Ross’s Comedy Club ITV and Richard Osman’s House of Games BBC. She is co-founder of The Lol Word, a queer comedy collective that hosts sell-out monthly nights, boasting the finest female and non-binary queer talent.
Katie Norris
Katie is an award-winning comedian who debuted her first solo hour, Farm Fatale, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2024 to widespread acclaim. Katie is also one-half of the Edinburgh cult-favourites Norris & Parker, who regularly play to packed houses and have featured in The Guardian’s top 10 best Comedy Shows of the Year. As an actor, Katie is a regular voice on BBC Radio 4 with TV credits including Doctors (BBC One), as well as theatre appearances including; The Demolitian Man (Bolton Octagon), Doctor Faustus (The Royal Exchange) and more
Shalaka Kurup
Shalaka Kurup is an Indian stand up comedian and writer. Her observational humour has been described as deadpan joy. A doctor by education and a comedian by choice Shalaka has shot onto the UK circuit receiving numerous awards. Performances include opening for Eshaan Akbar, Ria Lina, and she was selected for Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breakers and Pleasance Reserve in 2023. She has starred on Comedy Central Live Season 3, Jokes Only A…Can Tell (Channel 4 Digital) and Sunday Morning Live (BBC1).

Our MC for the evening will be Alex, who has become one of the most popular MC’s on the circuit, brilliant at crowd work but also adept at her own style of stand-up. Currently touring with her ‘Not My Finest Hour’ show up to until February, Alexandra has supported comedy icons such as Frankie Boyle and Eshaan Akbar. -

Graziella (performer and Host)
A seasoned singer, songwriter and rapper, beginning her career within the Uk music sector Graziella emerged with the likes of Foreign Beggars, Skinnyman, DJ Vadim and Ed Skrein etc, where she toured and refined her stage presence to be captivating and prominent. She has also even opened for Amy Winehouse at the Camden Crawl Festival. Following the recent release of the first single BREAK BREAK, from her debut album with supergroup Freaquen.C, consisting of DJ Vadim and Laville, she will bring some funk, soul and r&b together.SE.V.EN
SE.V.EN first performed with us during the 2023 London Jazz Festival, and is now back. A New Zealand native, SE.V.EN describes her sound as alternative R&B and constantly evolving with British soul pop vibes. Her love of music is taken from her Māori lineage. Some of her first-ever gigs were played at Glastonbury and the Silver Hayes main stage.Panther1na
Panther1na trained under concert pianist Ariana Prussner. As a songwriter, her songs have been licensed to TV, in particular Channel 4’s famous TV Show, Skins. Her love of music developed from a young age, and as a vocalist, she released her first EP in 2012, ‘Word On The Street’, under the moniker of Aina Roxx. The EP was mixed by Adrian Hall who has worked with Goldfrapp and Tori Amos. She has toured with the legendary Stereo MC’s and is resident singer at London’s famed, Blues Kitchen. -

As part of the festival we bring back our favourite Supper Club partner, Emily Yeoh of Two Hot Asians
. Having completed a successful Lunar New Year Supper Club with us, she is back on Thursday 6th March with some more succulent Asian fare.
Two Hot Asians is a hot sauce brand, co-founded by Emily Yeoh, born out of conversations between friends reminiscing about the
food they would eat growing up and the wonderful homemade sauces that their respective parents would make. Launching initially with Papa’s Yeoh’s Sambal, with spicy variations to follow.
Emily is also a foodie queen hosting Supper Clubs
across London and we are delighted to welcome her back to Mama. Kick off is at 7pm – sharing starters with wontons and more, an epic Crispy Pork Belly and dessert for your sweet tooth.
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for Vegans or Gluten free for this event. Vegetarians can be hosted, as long as we are informed 7 days before the event.

DJ Venere
Hailing from Italy and making waves on the international scene, Venere is a rising star in the Afro-music world. Her genres focus on deep house and amapiano, developing an emotive and danceable sound.
She has played at the likes of EGG LDN, LightBox, Protocol, The Exhibit, SUNDANCING and BAAROOM. Venere also dabbles in radio and has a regular slot on Bloop Radio London. Her sets seep infectious energy which are sure to get you moving.

DJ Daniella Font, whose sounds fall into the tech and house genre, has built up quite the repertoire. She has been featured on Bloop London and Ext.Radio. Font has played various shows at different venues and events including Koda Events, Thundr, Reunion London, and The 3am Club.
