    Mama’s perfectly formed space is an ideal bolt hole in the middle of super-cool Shoreditch. Whether you’re alone or in a duo, the Small Mama is designed to make you feel at home, with everything close to hand including a mini fridge and desk, stylish decor and tactile bedlinen. You can go single, double and even underground! Sleeps 2.

    Medium Mama

    Medium Mama offers an ideal respite from the city bustle. We’re talking a 20 m² haven, available as twin beds for friends or colleagues to share, or a roomy double. Mama dares you to try and stay awake once you’ve slipped under the sheets. Reach for the remote control if you like, but you might not make it.

    Great hotel, wonderfully quirky

    “Had a great time as I did on my previous stay. Only slight issue was my room was on the road side when I'd booked a court side room so the traffic disturbed me, but otherwise brilliant hotel.”

    Welcoming and relaxed vibe

    “Mama Shelter has fantastically attentive and friendly staff. They went out of their way to ensure that we had the room we wanted (with with windows, away from noise, etc), and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, yet the staff are on-the-ball, alert to everyone’s needs and wants. The rooms are quirky but ours was spacious (large room) with a comfortable bed.”

    Trouble from the start

    “Our room did not have hot water for half our stay. The Television came in in the middle of the night, waking one of us up and wasn't able to get back to sleep therefore delaying our jet lag another day. Some kids became trapped in the elevator on the second day and over all the bed was incredible dense and hard.”

    Not bad

    “Went to London for my wife’s birthday and chose Mama Shelter because of our previous experiences in Lille. We had some AC issues that were quickly solved, but the tv kept bugging over and over, not a big deal as we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and polite 👏”
