    Saturdays only, 12pm to 3pm, you must book the Experience as opposed to just a normal table to gain access to the exclusive Garden Bar.

    London is famous for its Sunday Roast, so of course Mama has to oblige. Her iconic Beef Wellington is back on the menu with all the trimmings. Choose from traditional Roast Chicken, Pork Belly, Rump of Lamb or Cardamom roasted Butternut Squash Wellington, with a side of roasted root vegetables, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese.

    In partnership with Ladies of Restaurants, we are delighted to host a Talk on honest experiences, best practices and an insight into owning a restaurant with three iconic restauranteurs.

    Freddie is the founder of Snackbar in London. Originally from The Netherlands, she previously worked at Michelin-starred Lyle’s as head of marketing and set up F.A.T Pickles. Freddie is also an author, having written the cookbook Pickled.

    Kate Tiernan / FKA Black Axe Mangal
    Kate heads up operations and front of house at Islington’s well loved favourite Black Axe Mangal, which had its first pop-up in Copenhagen before launching its London site in 2015.

    Sandia Chang / Bubbledogs + Kitchen Table
    Sandia, a Sommelier, is co-founder of Bubbledogs (formerly a restaurant), where you can purchase the finest grower Champagnes online. She is also co-founder of Michelin Star restaurant, Kitchen Table.

    Moderated by Natalia Ribbe, Founder of Ladies of Restaurants, it is sure to be a fun and insightful evening.

    Mama is delighted to be celebrating International Women’s Day with a series of events throughout the week. Here, we host a comedy night full of belly laughs with a stellar line-up of talented female comedians. MC’d by the charming Alexandra Haddow, our headliner Michelle de Swarte along with Helen Bauer, Laura Smyth and Ester Manito will help laugh us straight into Spring! See bios below.

    Michelle de Swarte / Headliner
    Michelle is an actress, comedian, writer and TV Presenter. Her comedic skills has seen her grace the stages of Edinburgh Fringe Festival and live at the Apollo, as well as appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Chris Moyles Comedy Empire and I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here!

    Helen Bauer
    Helen is a comedian and writer, with radio appearances. Other appearances include Live at the Apollo, Edinburgh Nights, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Pep Talk to name a few. Helen hosts podcast Trusty Hogs with fellow comedian Catherine Bohart.

    Esther Manito
    Esther is another Live at the Apollo performer, who has secured numerous comedic appearances from Stand-Up Sketch Show to Crusade nominated for best show by Funny Women. Esther was the first female comedian to perform at the Dubai Opera House.

    Sara Barron
    Sara is a American comedian and writer. In 2018, she debuted at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, caught her first Best Newcomer Award nomination at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and returned to the festival in 2019 and again in 2022. As with some her co-lineup she has graced the stage of Live at the Apollo, as well as Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Celebrity Mastermind

    Alexandra Haddow / MC
    Our MC for the evening will be Alex, who has become one of the most popular MC’s on the circuit, brilliant at crowd work but also adept at her own style of stand-up. Currently touring with her ‘Not My Finest Hour’ show up to until February, Alexandra has supported comedy icons such as Frankie Boyle and Eshaan Akbar.

    Specialising in electronic music, she has played for Mad Radio Bogota and Incognito Club in Bogota.
