    London is famous for its Sunday Roast, so of course Mama has to oblige. Her iconic Beef Wellington is back on the menu with all the trimmings. Choose from traditional Roast Chicken, Pork Belly, Rump of Lamb or Cardamom roasted Butternut Squash Wellington, with a side of roasted root vegetables, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese.

    Nick will join the family at Mama Shelter London bringing nothing but pure disco house vibes. Expect everything from 70s throwbacks to current-day bangers to get your weekend off to a great start – cause Thursday is the new Friday after all.

    Nick McCluskey is an outgoing and energetic Radio Presenter, Host and DJ from North London. His recent work has seen him featured in The Camden New Journal, The Bookseller and Islington Tribute. Last year he was nominated as one of six in the country to be Hits Radio Pride’s next Future Star.

    Nick presents weekly on London’s Riverside Radio and Portsmouth’s ExpressFM and he has a particular love for noughties and house music.

  • DJ Redfreya

    Redfreya is a London-based DJ, creating emotive and melodic soundscapes, giving heavy rotation to deep/progressive house, afro-house & melodic techno selections. Expect a signature style, blending easily between these genres with an uplifting energy.

  • DJ Vibes

    DJ Vibes began his musical journey on the London party scene in 2016. His music represents the finest house/deep house, tech house music, and everything in between, frequently changing his style. Vibes has played alongside many well-known DJs like Roger Sanchez, Marco Carola, Heidi and more as well as in various venues and destinations such as Hotel Pestana (Brazil), Fauno Club (Italy) and in London at Village Underground, Orange Yard, W1, 93 Feet East, Shoreditch Platform and many others.

    His philosophy is that every time he plays the most important factor is to give the crowd a fantastic time and let them feel the “Vibe” of the party.

    Enjoy classic hot smoke salmon royale, stacked pancakes, chimichuri minute steak and more, depending on the package. Drinks include prosecco, bloody mary, negroni and more, unlimited, for 90 minutes.

    Saturdays only, 12pm to 3pm, you must book the Experience as opposed to just a normal table to gain access to the exclusive Garden Bar.

    Mama is teaming up with Didsbury Gin, the hand-distilled, 100 natural fruit-infused, vegan-friendly gin brand, to launch an epic, two-month bar pop-up every day throughout June and July.

    Kick back and relax in our restaurant bar and ethereal garden bar for six refreshing, inventive and fruity Didsbury Gin cocktails this summer.

  • DJ CLEIDO

    Cleido is a proudly Angolan Afro-House DJ based in London. Born and raised in South Africa and he has a deep desire to champion the sounds of African dance music. Cleido fuses together an eclectic mix of Afro-House with deep house, downtempo and melodic techno to cater to audiences with diverse musical tastes.

    Through each vibrant set delivered by Cleido, the crowd is exposed to a number of unique sounds from a variety of regions in Africa, with not one region taking precedence over another. The London-based DJ revels not only in the fusion of sounds from different regions of the continent but also in introducing his crowd to new, atypical sounds, keeping them on their feet well into the night.

    As Cleido takes London by storm, above all else, he wishes to captivate and dazzle listeners with the rich musical culture that the African continent has to offer.

  • DJ Venere

    Hailing from Italy and making waves on the international scene, Venere is a rising star in the Afro-music world. Her genres focus on deep house and amapiano, developing an emotive and danceable sound.

    She has played at the likes of EGG LDN, LightBox, Protocol, The Exhibit, SUNDANCING and BAAROOM. Venere also dabbles in radio and has a regular slot on Bloop Radio London. Her sets seep infectious energy which are sure to get you moving.

    Join Mama Bar and Intune Drinks for a monthly Sunday Session with live music from grassroots and emerging talent from 11th June to 8 October. Listen to some smooth jazz, silky soul, sultry r&b with feel-good reggae and funk. Headlining our launch event will be Josh Barry, who returns to us following his set with us as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival last year.

    Josh Barry’s sounds root from the 70s, old school and soul scenes. He takes inspiration from Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan. Josh has fronted with Gorgon City at Coachella, Glastonbury, Wireless, Hard Summer, Future Festival and more, won the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition and has opened the John Peel stage on Saturday morning, BBC Introducing and a live session on BBC 2.

    New Zealand native, SE.V.EN describes her sound as alternative R&B and constantly evolving with British soul-pop vibes. Her love of music is taken from her Māori lineage. Some of her first-ever gigs were played at Glastonbury and the Silver Hayes main stage.

    Muti Musafiri, AKA Mutivation sounds fall into the genres of Afro-futurism, and alternative pop with a rock and funk feel. He has played at many festivals and gigs like the Shambala 2022 UK Festival, Village 101, and Omeara LDN and performed multiple live sessions.

    Singer-songwriter REGALJASON fuses the sounds of pop, alternative, indie, soul and R&B. He is inspired by the intense clash of cultures and world views he encountered growing up. REGALJASON has played at Sketch London and has been featured in Wonderland magazine.

    Future dates for the Sunday Sessions are 16th July, 13th August, 10th September and 8th October.

  • DJ Rebecca Gough

    Rebecca Gough was born and raised in Manchester with over 15 years of musical experience from a young age. Rebecca grew the love of her musical passion through playing instruments such as piano and guitar, which led her to study music technology in later years, learning how to use multiple software platforms.

    Over the current years, Rebecca has taken massive inspiration from artist research of electronic and melodic artists from all over the world whilst also travelling to events and clubs, especially finding inspiration from the underground music scene in London.

    Now a self-taught DJ, Rebecca has relocated to London to progress and express her artistic style through upcoming radio show podcasts and gigs.

  • Bustin Loose

    Hailing from the depths of South London, Bustin’ Loose, AKA Tom Lilly whose roots are ingrained in disco, funk and soul is a prolific promoter, producer, designer and resident at Shoreditch Platform.

    Bustin’ Loose is the founder of the highly esteemed, hedonistic loft party and label, The Disco Express – a party that hosts some of the globe’s most talented names in house and disco.

    Originating from Naples, Italy; London-based artist Mario D’ambrosio is a name that continues to gain weight within underground circles – year on year. He has played at many venues, including fabriclondon, E1, Village Underground, Egg London, TAG Club, Ovest Club, DUEL:BEAT, Mostra d’Oltremare, Mandarino Club, Ibiza Global Radio, The Breakfast Club and more. Look forward to the sounds of Techno, Electronic and House music.

    Keep your mind levitated with South West London DJ and Producer tr^s (Tris Rothschild). He will bring you his extensive collection of all things House and Techno, a mixture of intricate melodic anthems and pumping tech groovers.

    Toby Corton’s music is classified as jazz-pop, dark-soul and British soul. His music is focused on queer storytelling. He has many supporters like DAZED, Wonderland, Notion, BBC 6MUSIC and more. Toby has hosted the New Music Stage at Mighty Hoopla and has played at Servant Jazz Quarters, The Windmill (Brixton) and The Roundhouse, for Roundhouse Rising Present as part of the music group, State Is Flow.

    Brighton musician and songwriter, Bessi, sounds fall into jazz with a side of electronica. They take inspiration from renowned jazz artists Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Bessi has played the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury and has gained support from BBC Radio 1 and 6 DJs Lauren Laverne and Edith Bowman.

    Tamaraebi is an alt-soul, R&B and synth pop Nigerian artist. His music resembles the sounds of The Weeknd, Prince and Miguel. His singles and EP have been supported by news outlets like The Times, Evening Standard, Notion, and Clash radio stations such as Radio 1, BBC London, Jazz FM and many more.

    Future dates for the Sunday Sessions are 13th August, 10th September and 8th October.

    London-based Filipino artist Jeff Nang has a love for talk boxing, 80s funk and synthy plastic tones. His music pays homage to Michael Jackson, Prince and Daftpunk. Nang has been making music since 2016 and has released many singles since. He has played for Off The Grid and 93FeetEast.

    Segun Fawole, known as SEGN is an Afrobeat, R&B, pop, K-pop and hip-hop singer and songwriter. Throughout his career so far, he has performed with prolific artists like Sean Paul, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke and many others, prolific UK venues such as Wembley Stadium and o2 Arena and popular UK shows Britain’s Got Talent and Good Morning Britain.

    Ayda Rose (formerly Effie) is an R&B, soul and jazz artist. Her music has been influenced by musicians such as SZA, Amy Winehouse and Stevie Wonder with early influences from the likes of Ray Charles, Etta James and various other jazz artists. Rose has been awarded the NME Emerging Artist award in 2018 and has received support from BBC Radio 1’s MistaJam and DJ Target, Capital XTRA, KISS, Clash and Notion.

    Hutch is a songwriter and piano player, whose music lies in the jazz, R&B, blues and soul genres. He has played many gigs likes Audio Active, Room to Rent and played piano for ‘My Radio’, a song inspired by Queen’s ‘Radio Gaga’. It was produced with Che Lingo, Roger Taylor with vocals from Freddy Mercury.

    Hailing from Southeast London, Lovelle is a R&B and soul artist. Lovelle is on the radar of key tastemakers like Trevor Nelson, John Legend, Leah Davies and more. She has a lot of experience with live gigs, she’s opened for Miguel, Bob Sinclair, Keri Hilson and Becky Hill. Lovelle has performed at Glastonbury, The o2 Arena, Hackney Empire, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, BRITS 2022 and more.

    Originally from Amsterdam, AKA Block’s music consists of slow synth, R&B, hip-hop and lo-fi. He has collaborated with upcoming artists like Ady Suleiman, Humble the Great and Kate Stewart. AKA Block has released many singles and an album where he collaborated with an artist on each track.

    Our final date until we participate in November’s EFG London Jazz Festival will be 8 October.

    Join Mama Bar and Intune Drinks for our final Sunday Session with live music from grassroots and emerging talent. Listen to some smooth jazz, silky soul, sultry r&b with feel-good reggae and funk. Laville who played with us during our EFG London Jazz Festival last year, closes out our show.

    Laville is an artist whose focus rests on soul and jazz. He takes inspiration from Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, JP Cooper and Jamiroquai. He has guested on Big Narstie’s album cut and has released an album of his own. He has played at many venues like Hootananny Brixton, Low Profile Studios, Punchdrunk, The Royal Albert Hall and more.

    Congolese born singer/songwriter Baby Sol has a style of music which touches dance, electronic, folk, hip hop, indie rock, jazz, rap and soul. A true melting pot of sounds. In 2011 she released her debut solo, in 2012 she followed with a collaboration with Swindle to record ‘Some unholy War’, as a contribution to the Amy Winehouse tribute album, ‘Back to Back to Black’. She worked with Ray Davies and Paloma Faith, featuring on the outro of their version of Lola.

    Jai Amore is a singer-songwriter and producer, who has a MOBO Award under his belt having won Best Unsigned Act back in 2006. He opened the awards ceremony at The Royal Albert hall and has never looked back. He won the BBC Performing Arts Grant and has worked with various artists in the UK and abroad. His collaborator list includes Wiley, Heshima Thompson, Bless Beats and more. Farther afield, he featured on ‘Masseuse’ as a lead vocalist with US rapper, Joe Budden gaining traction on BBC Radio, Kiss FM and Radio 1Xtra.

    We will return with live music for EFG’s London Jazz Festival in November.
