Kaaya G is a DJ, street dance dancer and host of a rap show on Color music radio. Her domain is black music: from rap, RnB to Latin and Afrobeats. She plays in most clubs in Prague and in different parts of the Czech Republic and also at rap concerts. She has been living music since she was a little girl and DJing is a great way for her to share this passion with others. In Mama shelter you can look forward to her set full of groovy beats. 

Erk comes from the culturally rich Angola and today, as a DJ, he makes Prague dance across genres – from house, latin house, melodic house and R&B, through rap and mainstream, all the way to afrobeats and amapiano. From all these influences, however, he has carved out his own path: afrohouse, which has become his signature sound and with which he brings something fresh, unique, and irresistibly rhythmic to the Prague scene.

This week’s film: Home Alone 2

This time, little Kevin isn’t forgotten at home, but he gets lost at the airport. While his family flies off on their dream vacation to Miami, the little boy accidentally flies to New York. At first he is frightened, but since he has all his father’s money with him, he checks into the most expensive hotel and begins to enjoy the Christmas spirit. He has no idea what unpleasant encounter awaits him…

His journey began in 2017 with the RedBull 3Style National Finals, where he became the Czech Republic’s Vice Champion.  In 2020, he became the Czech RedBull 3Style Champion and flew to Taipei to represent his country at the RedBull 3Style World Finals, the most prestigious DJ competition in the world. In addition to DJ competitions, he participated in Ben Cristovao’s 2019 RedBull Tour, which ended in a sold-out O2 Arena.

Meanwhile, he has also worked on PlayOF, a project for larger format events such as big clubs and festivals.

During Christmas Eve you can choose from our special seasonal dishes and make your festive days a little more pleasant.

We will set up a festive board and you will be able choose from our Christmas menu (we will not serve our regular à la carte menu).

Every guest that attends the dinner (from 16:00 or 19:00) will receive a free Christmas welcome cocktail from Mama.

A day later (25 December) we are open as usual and in addition to the classic à la carte menu, the festive meals will be served as well.

• Venison pâté with aronia berries and homemade bread
• Cheese quiche with caramelized figs, cranberries, and candied cashews
• Pumpkin cream soup with cardamom and coconut milk

  Mains

• Pikeperch on a brioche bun, butter sauce on cauliflower purée and cabbage
• Roasted carrots with Roman spices on tofu purée with cashews and pomegranate
• Duck breast with chestnut stuffing and orange shallots
• Mushroom croquette in marjoram sauce with truffle salsa and parmesan chips
• Crispy veal panko strips with potato salad and lemon emulsion
• Beef tartare with fried capers, truffle mayonnaise, and homemade chips
• For children: Fried or grilled chicken schnitzel with buttered mashed potatoes

Join us on 25 December from 12:00 to 15:00 for our Festive Christmas Brunch — richer, more indulgent, and filled with your favourite seasonal flavours. Expect fresh oysters, seasonal fish specials, festive poultry, sweet Christmas treats, and of course plenty of prosecco and champagne.

Enjoy Christmas carols and live music performed by singer Natalia accompanied by a guitarist.

Your price includes a welcome glass of champagne, all-you-can-eat brunch, plus water, iced tea, and juices.

Poeta is a DJ and presenter of hip hop radio Spin and in his sets he combines other urban genres such as funk, afrobeat or dancehall. He is a resident of Moon and M1 Lounge clubs. He is one of the busiest party DJs in the country. He is the author of the first book about Czech rap, Czech Rap, and co-creator of the Mic Check podcast. 

DJ Noir is a Prague stalwart and one of the top RnB DJs in our country. He has been DJing since 2004 and is still one of the most popular DJs in the Czech Republic He has played at most Czech festivals and he frequently performs in M1 Lounge, Radosti FX or Roxy. He was a concert DJ for one of the biggest Czech rappers Ektor. In his sets he combines oldschool and new school rap, RnB or funk and makes full use of his many years of experience

DJ Jeffology is a musician and DJ, a member of Champion Sound, which has accompanied names like Diamond D, Black Moon, Smif n Wessun, Bahamadia, MC Rene and Czech artists Prago Union, Rest, DJ Wich, Pio Squad, McGey, Idea, Boy Wonder and others  As a DJ he is a co-organizer of Prague club nights Blackalicious and Lifted. His musical range is eclectic from Hip Hop, R&B, to Disco, Funk and House music

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and Mama is gearing up for an epic Flashback Party, taking you from the swinging 60s all the way to today! Our live band will guide you through time, with each hour celebrating a different musical decade. Join us and welcome 2026 in true Mama style!

What’s happening?

Our culinary team is preparing a rich lineup of appetizers, main courses, and desserts — with something for everyone. Look forward to meat and vegetarian options, fresh oysters, fish and seafood specials, premium beef, poultry dishes, and plenty of other delights.

You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink, followed by live music, dance shows, and even a chance to learn some iconic moves yourself. And of course, we’ll end the night with a sparkling midnight toast.
